Reflecting on Our 20th Year in Business
What a year it’s been! Today, I find myself thinking back to how I started our 20th anniversary blog series with “Building on Our Core and Recognizing What Still Works.” As positive as I was about our business goals this time last year, I could not have imagined just how much that sentiment would ring true.
We have now launched more than 125 digitally native retailers into direct mail (and have 40 planned for the beginning of 2019!). The amount of digitally native retailers and wholesale brands looking to launch into direct mail and catalogs is astonishing. Even more astonishing is the success these brands have experienced while working with Belardi Wong to build sustainable direct marketing strategies for the future.
We could not have had the year we did without our incredible staff. There is no team more committed to excellence or who cares more about their clients' growth than the team at Belardi Wong. We are so fortunate that they have chosen Belardi Wong as their home. Their wealth of knowledge and deep subject-matter expertise is rare in our industry today and is what sets us apart and drives our business model. We are so grateful to our clients for their originality, for keeping us on our toes, and for always challenging us to think differently. Working with new and emerging brands that are excited to venture into this space is inspiring. Being an integral part of that growth - working directly with entrepreneurs who are as passionate about their business as we are - reminds us how important it is to continue to innovate and stand out from the crowd.
Working with long established and sophisticated brands that continue to grow and evolve is just as thrilling as we learn from and support each other with best practices. As a 20+ year-old brand ourselves, we can relate. We understand how important it is to be unique and innovative while remaining true to your mission.
Looking ahead to 2019, we will continue to focus on complementary services steeped in innovation and new technology, which will allow us to effectively serve our clients well into the future. Advanced analytics, real-time measurement, integration of digital audiences, social media, podcasts and addressable TV are top-of-mind. Be on the lookout for new proprietary products in Shared Mail, Alt Media, and Data Monetization, where we have served clients for decades.
